Were chocolate brownies originally cake like?
today i got out my 60s betty crockers cookie book and made the brownie recipe..the brownies were dark with chocolate and with nuts but cake like and a good inch and a half high. i like a sort of dense and gooey type..and no more than a inch high..how were brownies originally?
