What is a simile that could be used with blurred vision?

So I am writing a memoir that needs to include multiple similes and I found a good spot to add a simile the problem I can't think of a simile. The sentence is "Water started to fill my eyes, within thirty seconds my vision was as blurred as.....That is where I have the trouble, help please!
