Is anybody good at explaining the heating of a bearded dragon habitat?

I know one side has to be 100-110F and the cooler side has to be at around 85F to help them digest their food properly, but i really have no idea how to do this. I keep hearing things about a "day" and "night bulb" that you need to use and the other light has to be UVA and B for calcium. Can someone dumb down how to do this for me? thanks
