Help me out with the Israeli-Palestanian conflict Please?

Okay let me know if I got this right. When the Holocaust started. European Jews moved to the Middle East ( modern day Israel) to seek refugee. or to just move there? Then the native or (Idk how i should say this) the indigenous people of gosh i don't mean to make it sound bad!! but the people who have lived in that ( Israel) area the whole time were later move out to what is today Palestine if they where Muslim??? PLEASE HELP ME OUT....BTW I don't mean to sound dumb I just want some help. My family originally came from somewhere there in the 1800's and immigrated to Iran
